It doesn't feel quite right yet.

It's a shame that the comments here are once again absolute garbage, but I guess that's just the way it is these days. It should be obvious that the game isn't running as smoothly as WT or WoT yet. But instead of helping to make it better, all we get is meaningless drivel. Don’t let it get you down—keep going. It’ll work out. The ideas for playing without air support, artillery, and premium ammo are great!

  • The battles with just 5 tanks are too small for my taste. I hope there’ll be more, since losing 2 tanks is effectively decisive given the team size. Though that could change if you’re playing in a 5-man team. Then it gets extremely tactical. Unfortunately, I can’t really judge that since I play with RDM and bots. That’s not much use, unfortunately.

  • The maps are too small—maybe because of the team size. But flanking or getting behind the enemy is difficult, especially with light vehicles.

  • The controls could also use some fine-tuning. I’ve played both WT and WoT, and they feel more comfortable to play. But that impression might just stem from the fact that I’m used to WT and WoT… Unfortunately, I can’t really pinpoint what feels off about it. I don’t think it’s too slow. It’s just more realistic than WoT, and that’s a good thing. Tanks just don’t race across the battlefield, but these days everything has to be fast. ADHD says hi

  • Aiming also takes some getting used to. When I switch to the gunner’s view, I have to search for the target first even though I was already on it in the tactical view. Maybe it’s just me. No idea. I still need to figure that out.

  • I can’t tell how the camouflage system works. I had the feeling that both light and heavy tanks were spotted just as easily. Do bushes help with camouflage? The same goes for recon. I didn’t get the impression that I could scout better with a light tank. Maybe that’s also due to the map size.

  • Server performance is okay, but there’s room for improvement. A 9800×3D, 7900XTX, and 64 GB of RAM should be able to deliver more than 80–90 FPS—even on high settings. There were a few lags and crashes, but otherwise it ran relatively smoothly.

  • I’d love to see a mode with a pure first-person perspective. That third-person corner-peeking is lame. The same goes for shooting—let players calculate distance and shot trajectory themselves. Add a little more challenge and realism to the simulation.
