Logging in at start of Open game.

I log in on the Launcher, then go to start the game, it tells me I need a newer version, so I go to updater and log in but it tells me I can’t update???????? I started on the closed tests but found the times for me on the East Coast of Australia were being prohibitive with the need to sleep at night. I just hoped that I could get to play a better game at normal hours, but it seems there are already some teething problems.
